Short Steps Forward with Jake Evans
Time & Location
About the event
Jake tells a selection of traditional, folk and personal stories from The Great Rift Valley - the cradle of humanity. THREE in ONE - read on....... Since winning National Young Storyteller of the Year, this Shropshire Lad, has been busy weaving tales for a living. His work has taken him across the globe performing in schools, theatres, at festivals and in prisons. It was however a visit to Kenya, on behalf of a small charity, which truly inspired him to pursue storytelling seriously. And his regular visits to this amazing land continue to fuel his stories....
AND Lichfield Storytellers will tell "Aspects of Love" - tales to get us in the mood for Valentine's Day.
AND we're "Dressing Up For No Good Reason" (just for fun which, come to think of it, is a pretty good reason). We are aiming to have the most intriguingly dressed audience - do you have a Steampunk outfit? LARP? Theatre or Dance costume? Or just your best bib and tucker. No pressure - just come as you are if you wish.
WE ARE RECORDING THIS EVENT, so if you can't make 8th February, please buy a ticket and we will send you a link to watch at your leisure.
