About the event
This great trade route is woven into the culture of the regions it crosses but despite the wide variety of countries, the same themes occur in all places: love, money, monsters, and trickery. Here are stories that follow the ancient Silk Road, from Japan and China through Asia and finally to Europe. Join Sarah to discover the one thing wanted everywhere, even if you don’t have a name for it. Sarah has performed at Stockholm’s Fabula Story Café, the Nivesh Festival, Delhi, Kolkata Book Fair, and Festival at the Edge. She has devised works for the British Museum, Wellcome Foundation, Geffrye Museum and National Trust. She last performed in Lichfield in Autumn 2018 and now she's helping us start our new, online, storytelling journey. ENJOY!
